Understanding 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize Numbers

In both Malaysia and Singapore 4D, every regular draw produces three top prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Each is a single four-digit number drawn (or derived) for that prize tier.

Why the ranking matters

Payout tables assign different prize amounts to 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Matching 1st prize on a Big or Ordinary bet typically pays more than matching 2nd or 3rd. The exact amounts depend on the operator and the bet type you purchased.

One number per tier

Unlike Special and Consolation (which have ten numbers each), there is only one winning number for 1st, one for 2nd and one for 3rd. Your ticket must match that exact four-digit number (and the correct bet type rules) to win that tier.

Permutation and system bets

If you played a System or iBet-style entry covering permutations of your digits, a match against any of the top three can still win, with the prize shared or scaled according to the operator’s rules. Always check the ticket type and the operator’s prize structure.
