How to Read Malaysia 4D Results
A standard Malaysia 4D result board (Magnum, Sports Toto or Da Ma Cai) shows 23 four-digit numbers for each draw. Understanding the layout helps you check a ticket quickly and correctly.
The three top prizes
At the top of the board you will see:
- 1st Prize – one four-digit number
- 2nd Prize – one four-digit number
- 3rd Prize – one four-digit number
These are the highest-paying numbers for that draw. Prize amounts depend on the bet type (Big/Small, Ordinary, etc.) and the stake; check the operator’s current prize table for exact payouts.
Special (Starter) and Consolation
Below the top three prizes:
- Special (sometimes called Starter) – ten four-digit numbers
- Consolation – ten four-digit numbers
These pay lower fixed amounts. The order of numbers within Special or Consolation does not change the prize tier; matching any of the ten in that group is enough for that tier.
Leading zeros
Numbers from 0000 to 0999 are written with leading zeros (for example 0038, not 38). When you compare your ticket to the board, match all four digits exactly.
Draw date and draw number
Each result is tied to a specific draw date and usually a draw number (for example 442/26). Always confirm you are looking at the correct date for the ticket you hold.
